Sometimes the best part of pickleball happens after you leave the building. You walk to the parking lot with a friend, decide where to eat, and carry the conversation into the rest of your day.
Your clothes can make that transition with you. That is what court-to-street means to us at Pangkaroo Club: a connection between the game, the people around it, and everyday life. You do not need an entirely different wardrobe just to grab lunch.
Start with what feels right on court
Choose a top and bottoms that let you reach, bend, and move comfortably. Fit is personal, so check the size guide and think about how you like your clothes to feel during play. A look you love is only useful on court if you can actually move in it.
If you expect to work up a sweat, bring a fresh top for afterwards. And choose footwear suited to court play rather than relying on a streetwear look to do the job of a court shoe.
Bring a layer for the next stop
A hoodie can be the piece you put on when the games are over, whether you are heading outside or into an air-conditioned lunch spot. Pick one you enjoy wearing beyond the club, not something you will immediately want to take off.
Our founder has been wearing the Court Lines Retro hoodie with a Pangkaroo logo trucker cap. His firsthand verdict on the hoodie: it is really soft. The line pattern also gives the outfit its own character without needing a complicated styling routine.
That is a personal wearing experience, not a promise that everyone will prefer the same fit or feel. Check the product details and sizing before choosing your own.
Let one piece set the tone
A patterned hoodie can do most of the visual work. Pair it with simple bottoms, or choose a coordinated look if that feels more like you. A cap is an easy finishing touch, but you do not have to wear every branded piece at once.
The aim is not to look like someone else. It is to feel comfortable showing up as yourself, on court and at the table afterwards.
Real clothes, real conversations
On a recent gym visit, our founder wore the Court Lines Retro hoodie and his Pangkaroo cap. A fellow pickleball player took a selfie with him to show the hoodie to her son. It was a small, unplanned moment, but it captured something we care about: clothes becoming part of a conversation between people.
Another outing with a friend brought together the Court Lines Retro and Rise of Roo hoodies outside the pickleball building, followed by a walk to their cars to head out to eat. No elaborate production. Just friends taking the community beyond the court.
Keep the plan simple
Comfortable playing clothes, a fresh top when needed, and a layer you genuinely like wearing. That is enough to get from pickleball to lunch without overthinking it.
Pangkaroo Club is built around that everyday connection: distinctive court-to-street style, real players, and the friendships that continue after the last point.
